Freelance Journalist
(2020 – current)
I have worked as a freelance journalist since beginning my Master’s in Journalism in 2020. I have articles and videos published in a number of different publications. The projects I have completed are in a wide range of different fields.

Qelp B.V.
(2016 – 2020)
My role was in creating and editing copy and translations for telecom clients in a B2B company. I was responsible for management and organization of content databases. Focus was always on consistency of brand messaging.

Freelance translator
(2015 – current)
I have done translations of texts as well as audio-visual translation, transcriptions, subtitles and more. Since graduating from my Bachelor’s I have worked with agencies and on freelance websites like Upwork.

Education

Master’s in Journalism
(2020 – 2022)
University of Groningen. In this MA, we learn the practical as well as theoretical sides of journalism. The program trains us as journalists in the field, with multimedia projects and tight deadlines.

Bachelor’s of Arts in English
(2010 – 2014)
Florida International University. In my bachelor studies I focused on linguistics, English literature, and writing skills.
